This is a beautiful and lovingly crafted piece, with very detailed carvings of owls and leaves surrounding a Black Forest cottage. This clock has a special mechanism that reproduces the slow “hoot” of an owl. There are special details on this clock, including tiny carved leaves around the owl’s door and woodcut hands in the shape of owls.

This clock is hand made in the Black Forest in Germany. The mechanical brass movement is driven by two weights and time escapes with the tick of a traditional pendulum. The owl call sound is made by two wooden whistles with bellows inside the clock case.
