This vintage-style watch is made in honor of the heroic efforts of Vladimir Kokkinaki, who set 20 world flight records. One of his most famous achievements was to fly across the Atlantic, from Moscow to New York in April, 1939.
The minute dial readout is influenced by a pilot’s instrument display.

The 1939 is produced in Germany with a Russian movement.
