This is a beautiful and lovingly crafted piece, with great carvings of a typical scene in Bavaria.
This huge clock is packed with all kinds of impressive details. The roof and painting are typical of an inn in Southern Germany. While the men in typical Lederhosen drink, the cuckoo calls, and then the dancers twirl on the balcony above along with the music. There is even an animated man at the water pump, and the town bell moves too. This whimsical and charming piece is full of surprises!
The hands, numbers and calling bird are all of solid wood, and this musical cuckoo includes a shut-off switch.
