Internationally recognized Black Forest Clock painter, Conny Haas, is a major force in upholding the centuries-old tradition of clockmaking. Her creations adorn many of the clocks that won the prestigious “Black Forest Clock of the Year Award”, as well as individual and unique pieces admired worldwide. In addition to clocks, Conny is an accomplished sculptor and installation artist. Her work is featured in cultural and commercial centers worldwide.
Haas joins fellow artists of the Black forest of Germany to form a new series of art works that reexamine the ancient appeal of their oldest regional treasure: the Black Forest Clock. The “ART CLOCKS” are each one-of-a-kind pieces, signed by the artist. Combining stylistic cues from centuries-old clock making with modern design.
